Release Notes for zen Developer for Eclipse 3

System Requirements:
	JDK >= 1.4.1, or JDK => 1.5.0 
	Eclipse >= 3.1.x
	OS: Win,Linux,Mac OS
  
Used Ports:
	The following ports are used by the zen Developer from/to localhost.
	Please make sure they are not blocked by your (personal) firewall or
	check the zen Platform Developers Guide to configure different ports.
	-8989 Servlet-Server
	-9001 HSQLDB
	-8085 JMX

Known Issues:
	-Before upgrading all open zen applications should be closed.
	-Re-installation of the zen Developer will overwrite the existing demo-database 
	 including any personal zen application models and the zen-banking project.
	-The demo database is a modified hsqldb (http://hsqldb.sourceforge.net).
	 It is started on demand and strictly running as single instance. Once started
	 it remains up & running until Eclipse is closed.
	-Currently, parallel access by multiple developers to the same application model 
	 can lead to synchronization problems. This can only occur if a shared database 
	 is used instead of the integrated demo database.
	-Currently, editing global elements (domains, resources, datatypes, constants) at the 
	 same time in two open applications within one zen Developer instance can cause
	 synchronization problems. Please make sure to edit only one application at a time.
	 After saving one application, refresh any other open application via the menu 
	 Zen/Reload Repository prior to editing.
	-With Eclipse 3.0.0 Linux-GTK does not support expand/collapse with the mouse 
	 on the Data Model View (Eclipse Bug #38855). This is fixed in Eclipse 3.0.1.
	-With Eclipse 3.0.0 some labels are missing due to an Eclipse bug (#71003) after 
	 restart. This is fixed in Eclipse 3.0.1. As workaround start Eclipse with 
	 the option '-clean' to prevent plugin caching.
	-Eclipse on Motif has issues with UTF-8, either use Eclipse-GTK or a different encoding.
	 
Restrictions of the Trial Version:
	-Application server deployment is disabled.
